The TumbleJam summer camp program has been in existence for over ten years, and is designed to allow your younger campers some creative fun during their day. It also allows the chance for them to learn about the group dynamic, forming a unit and working together. The best part is, this is all done through live music. We bring our program to camps for typically developing children as well as those with special needs.
Our curriculum was designed to grow with children. We have worked with campers as young as 2, and as old as 18 - and they have all responded to our unique approach. We also get rave reviews from camp directors, unit directors, head counselors, CIT's, LIT's - and parents. At the JCC of Central New Jersey's Camp Yachad, TumbleJam is consistently voted "Best camp activity"!
The core of our program is making the understanding of the group dynamic part of the learning process—not separate from it. Our use of music and movement encourages socialization, expression, and discovery. Music is not simply an auditory experience. It is visual, mental, physical, social, emotional, kinesthetic and tactile. In other words: it is aesthetic. The TumbleJam approach is designed to enhance all of these aspects. We not only teach children to hear music, but to also see it, move it, speak it and feel it!
If you are interested in speaking to us about a presentation or have any questions, please reach out to us. We would love to speak with you about how TumbleJam can help enhance your daily camp programming!
"TumbleJam is the highest rated camp activity on our parent survey every summer! The campers are always engaged, learning about music and movement and use their fine and gross motor skills. This is a camp activity that will never go away!"
